That's correct that it doesn't have heat or is hot or whatever the terminology is, as I didn't take that flaw. It was definitely an under the table deal and thus not traceable, which I think is a good reason to owe payback to the guy who sold it to me (since I took that flaw for another +1 lead). I'm gonna look for a good model I want it to look like over the next couple days.. may find one tonight.
Also are the names listen suggestions or do we need to pick between one of them? Also I'm not really clear on how much straight faced cheese factor is going to factored into the game, a lot of which would lend itself to a ridiculous name like "The Big Bang" or "Loose Cannon" for my character, considering my choice of gear. If the setting is supposed to be a bit more serious then I believe I will go with the suggestion "Reaper."
I'm working on character design as well ^_^ I'll fill you in as I figure/hash everything out in my own folder for my character. That's how we do right?

Okay I just looked through everything and saw your disclaimer so I'm not going to try and go with something more on the cheese scale, going to go with Grim or Reaper, and going to create my own folder now ^_^

It's not so serious we're all going to be stone faced and boring. It's about as serious as MH when shit is a fucking big deal, ya know? This game will sometimes just straight up be funny -- NPCs do stupid shit, you guys play PCs who snark off to someone, and its funny. But then, in the end, its a game about trying to survive, make do, and get rich. So, serious stuff.
So, terminology (I'm trying to help): -Hot is a tag that means an item has attracted attention and is being scrutinized (it has a police file open about it, it was used in a murder, the mob is looking for it, something like that). The -Hot tag means so long as you possess it (which will be a little fluid -- on your person is possession, driving it is possession, storing it in a lock up not under your name isn't, leaving it in your garage while you skip town IS in your possession, etc) you have +1-Heat. This makes you one step closer to being cracked down on by the powers that be, and leaving play.
So, Heat is a measure of how fucked you are and how much attention you're attracting from the powerful, and -Hot is a tag that gives Heat.

So does the Ice move: ○ Concealed Weapon: any weapons are –hot whilst you are carrying them.
Does this mean that if you have a gun or samurai sword that is Hot it does not get recognized as such? It also only has while "carrying them" so would that mean even if you have a gun and it is not concealed it is still going to be recognized? Or will that only be when it is actually a concealed weapon.
Also, if you have Hot gear, will it only count as a theoretical bonus to heat? or will you be able to level up with your Heat + Exp score quicker while carrying Hot gear, and then level up slower when you dump it? Does that question make sense?

Only when carrying it. If you stash a -Hot gun at home, where it could be found and pinned on you, the -Hot tag applies. It does not apply when on your person, concealed or otherwise. How does this work? Good question! When you take it, you'll have to tell me. Maybe you've got a forged gun license that your Hot guns are (fake) registered to. Maybe its because you don't leave a trail -- always wearing gloves and picking up shell casings? Maybe you've filed the numbers off the gun, and you've changed the bore of the barrel? The point is: the gun is so divorced from you, that you ignore its Heat. It has nothing to do with you, so you ignore it.
And yes, temporary heat counts towards Advancement -- because Heat isn't just a stat, its a fictional thing. You don't want to be pulled let by the cops in a car Used in A Bank Robbery, while toting a gun Used To Murder Someone. You know?

I have two debts. One gives Tank +1 debt on me because I killed a business partner, which is squared away. The other gives me +1 debt on someone else, and I think it would make sense for me for that to apply to Switch, considering I get it because somebody hired me for a job, and that makes sense to be coming from you. That or you can take the 0 debt option in that you know I'm a killer and stay the hell away from me.
So Switch, what are your debts?

Ok, I have +1 on Reaper for because she killed my employer/business partner and messed with my income from that.
I think I have +1 on Switch because he hired me for a muscle job once, being some dumb shits bodyguard while they peddled their wares behind closed doors.

○ You’ve fixed some friends up with what they needed in the past; choose two other PCs, you all take +2 debt with each other.
○ They’ve gotten their hands dirty doing your business for you; they take +2 debt with you.
○ You’re a natural networker; take +1 debt with everyone else and tell them all to take +1 debt with you.
So, I could have hooked you and Tank up for something you both needed. Or, perhaps one of you got your hands dirty doing business for me.

I think I would have been the one to do some dirty work.
Also I don't think we can do the first option because that would elevate him to +4 on me and that would let him gain a level right off the bat lol
Is that how that works Alfred?

Reaper and Tank are only taking +1 debt with any of their choices; if Switch gives out +2 that should only sum up to +3 which is valid.
And Tank, what happened to You hurt reaper as part of a job, and Switch got you fired? Those were the debt options you chose earlier.

○ You had to hurt them once as part of the job you were doing; they take +2 debt with you.
to Reaper. As she said, we definitely duked it out once when I was working for this guy who had paid me to protect him and his office from outsiders. This sneaky bitch got around me, and took out the guy before I even knew she was there. Well, I was still supposed to protect the shit in the office, so I beat the shit out of her. She go me back though. I was singing soprano and seeing double for a week, and that black eye took forever to fade. I heard something crack, pretty sure it was her ribs, but she managed to walk away. She didn't kill me either, so I guess I owe her big time for that.
○They got you the sack from a job when you looked the other way for them; take +1 debt with them.
I think this should go to Switch. I was supposed to help him out, give him a pass into the VIP room of this club I bounced for for a few weeks. Turns out the manager, guy by the name of Alphonse, HATES Switch, and was in the VIP room that night where he was meeting a client. Alphonse explodes, pitches Switch out on the street, and then finds out I was the one who let him in, so I get the boot, too.

So, Reaper has +2 with Tank (given by Tank; hurt on job) +3 or +2 with Switch (taken by Reaper; Switch hooked her up with a job, or avoids her. Regardless, Switch hooks everybody up with each other CHOOSE!)
Tank has +3 Switch (given by Switch and taken by Tank, because Switch hooks everybody up and because Tank go the sack). +1 Reaper (killed boss)

Am I getting these right?
Guys, remember to actually PICK your debt options. One per PC, just choose it, and pay attention for difference between GIVE and TAKE debt.

That sounds right so far. Switch has to pick his debt options for sure I think?
