You’re a killer.
Name: Reaper Look: She doesn't look like a femme fatale at this point, I'm thinking that she is basically Lucy Liu from Kill Bill with some cheap ass clothes and sans expensive arsenal except for a very nice, very loud and very deadly Spas-12. She's a Chinese immigrant. Pretty but generally pretty grimy, and clearly all business even though she doesn't look to be dressed for it. She wears a military jacket that she cut into a vest so it would fit her and some pants she similarly butchered she picked up from a military surplus store, and her shotgun from a local store, the owner of which she still owes a favor. Stats: name+1, hush+1, brass+2, wise=0, straight-1
Moves: Can’t Catch Me: when you go to Plan B, roll+brass instead of roll+wise. I Won't Ask Twice: when you ask around, you can roll+edge or roll+lead instead of roll+name. If you miss, any NPC you were asking goes down and you take +1 heat Choose a starting weapon with 1lead, you may give it +1lead for each of the following options you choose, to a maximum of 3lead:
○ It has the hot tag. ○ You got a good deal on it; mark the dealer for payback.
○ It has to be reloaded after every shot.
○ It always attracts a lot of attention when fired.
Special Move: Ice Special: when you double-cross another PC, take them down, or take them out if they were already down.
Debt: ○ You took out one of their business partners, hurting their income; they take +1 debt with you. (Considering The Heavy's number of clients, this seems proper)
○ They hired your services once; take +1 debt with them. (This I imagine will go to Switch)
○ Everyone else is uneasy around you and steers clear; ignore what anyone else tells you and take debt=0 with everybody else.
Family: She's technically married to her Sugardaddy so that she can remain in the country. She had arranged to get papers and remain as a prostitute for him, but he offered her a job after she beat the fuck out of an ex-marine that didn't pay. She picked up a shotgun from a friend of his and didn't look back. He provides her with a steady income so she can remain comfortable as she raises money to get her siblings and parents immigrated as well. She's been doing this for a couple years now, after she floundered a couple years looking for a job and about 3 weeks as a prostitute. Her parents taught her English when she was growing up so she could come to America and get into a college to pay for them to come over, but funny how plans change, right? She rooms with a couple of the prostitutes, a white girl who goes by Vanilla Chocolate and a guy of Native American descent who goes by Red Meat (Trying to play up the stereotypes/racism a little bit here, if it's too much I can change that last bit) If you want I can incorporate more local family in, not sure how big a part they are supposed to play. I tried to include some NPC ties in here to make up for lack of family

So, lets talk stats!
Stats: name+1, hush+1, brass+2, wise=0, straight-1
So, you've got some amount of a reputation, a name for yourself that people recognize. You're good at keeping your mouth shut, too, which is good in your line of work. You're one of the tougher motherfuckers, or the ballsiest, or you're just stone fucking cold. You're about as prepare or thoughtful as the average rube, and you've got the makings of a fine crook.
Question time!
•Sugardaddy gave you an assignment that locked your reputation in place, it gave your name some weight. Who did you take out? Does everyone know you did it, and everyone just keeps quiet cause they're scared, or what? •Red and/or Vanilla are scamming Sugardaddy somehow -- you know they are, you live with them. What are they doing? And why/how have you been covering for them? •You got into it with Tank, once. A real knock-down drag-out. Why? Who won? •You fucked up a hit cause your plan went bad -- who got the drop on you, saw your face, and survived? And whose body did you torch to convince Sugar you didn't fuck up? •Who else has been trying to give you contract jobs? I'm not saying you've taken them -- but it's not like you're a law-abiding citizen, so maybe you have?
Also!
•What do you want to do when you finally make it big? •Why don't you just leave the Hood? What's keeping you here? •Do you have a "respectable" day job or something?

Sugardaddy gave you an assignment that locked your reputation in place, it gave your name some weight. Who did you take out? Does everyone know you did it, and everyone just keeps quiet cause they're scared, or what? There was this corrupt cop, but he was corrupt for the wrong crew. He was eating out of the wrong hand, and getting to greedy. Arrested a couple of Sugardaddy's hoes. Sure it's tough to shoot somebody who will shoot back, but Daddy figured that either I'd be useless and dead or he'd get a new hitman and one less enemy. Victory-Victory scenario. None of the cops figured it out, but he was just leaving a meeting with a couple of the other pimps in town. One he was arresting and the other had just bribed him off. Now he's got a hole in his chest, one pimp is thankful and the other is fuckin pissed but what's he gonna do about it? He come after me and the only thing he'll get is a gut full of lead.
Red and/or Vanilla are scamming Sugardaddy somehow -- you know they are, you live with them. What are they doing? And why/how have you been covering for them? Vanilla's too hungry and naive for her own good. She's trying gather up a bit of extra money, charging her clients more than what she should and keeping the extra. I found out because one time I had to go and beat the fuck out of a guy who she claimed wouldn't pay, when in reality she just took all the money and thought she could get away with it. I confronted her and reminded her if Daddy found out, I might have to kill the fuck outta her, and she promised she wouldn't ever do something like that again. I notice she takes an extra few dollars every time, but not enough to write home about, and not enough for me to be tied to it. Sides, she's a nice girl. So long as she doesn't get me involved I'll stay quiet for now.
You got into it with Tank, once. A real knock-down drag-out. Why? Who won? I killed her employer (one of my debt options). I was out of ammo when I ran into the hunk of jerky bodyguard. I'm used to barreling through chumps but this guy was just made of muscles. Didn't even fuckin care that his employer was already dead. Don't know why he wanted to fight, he was earning jack shit for it. Ah well. Guy was getting the upper hand on me cuz I couldn't seem to slow him down. He straight up lifted me up and threw me when I went for his throat and was comin over to finish me off or tie me up or something, I didn't fuckin know. He's used to wimpy dumbasses so he wasn't expecting a foot to the testicles as he leaned over, much less a broken pipe (that he had thrown me straight through, would still feel that if Red wasn't so good with his massages) to the side of the head. I might have been able to finish him off but I wasn't gettin paid for it and I honestly felt the combination of those did more to piss him off than knock him out. Tank this sound fair?
You fucked up a hit cause your plan went bad -- who got the drop on you, saw your face, and survived? And whose body did you torch to convince Sugar you didn't fuck up? So the main pimp that was bribing the cop, my first hit, was back to making a good bit of money, and encroaching on Daddy's territory. So I'm supposed to go fuck him up, right? Seems he got a boost to security since I killed his cop friend, and he'd picked up some guy built like a fridge. Who woulda thought somebody that big could get the drop on me? Not me right? Anyway, before I can realize what's happening as I am sneaking in through the roof I've got a brass knuckled fist to the check and I hear another punk cocking a shotgun. I blow a hole in the dude with the gun, but meatslab kicks me right down the fuckin stairs and almost puts a round of 9 mils into my chest. That fucker saw me and suddenly the whole place was on lockdown. Fortunately this pimp had hired some new tactician or finance guy or what have you who had been bragging the other day when I scoped the place out, trying to get me to put out. Saw this guy dart into an office. Followed him in unnoticed (thankfully) and got a good blast to his face after holding him at gunpoint and getting all the important looking papers, since I've only got a few seconds after firing to get out before the entire staff finds me. That goddamn body guard kicked me with a shot as I took a second to shoot out the lock on the front door and then barreled into an alley. With the brains dead and all their plans in Daddy's hands though I got off the hook.
Who else has been trying to give you contract jobs? I'm not saying you've taken them -- but it's not like you're a law-abiding citizen, so maybe you have? Daddy said it'd be alright if I took in a couple extra jobs so long as they didn't interfere with my work for him. He understands trying to get ahead, so long as I don't interfere with him. The guy is unknown and basically has a messenger show up to deliver hits and then pay me after. Daddy told me that he has recommended me to a guy as payback for something and I was cleared to work for him.
Also, I'm thinking it would be more logical for myself to be married to Red rather than Daddy, and that being my ticket to stay in the country. Reaper's got a part time job working in the Chinese Restaurant across the street from her flat, Daddy figured that would be a good, inconspicuous job. Working on my goal

Sounds good all around. Married to Red is legit -- married to Red, and bossed around by Sugar. I like it.

Also, talked to Bethany. Got roughed up a lot more in the fight with her, had to take a couple weeks off which is when I got the part time job in the Chinese place across the street. Bruised ribs and just sore all over. Not changed the fact that I got her pair with my boot and her face with a pipe though. Imagine that stung.

If there was anything I could learn from Tank when we had to work together, it was how to act intimidating. Especially the bit where even I let him take the money from the guy I killed, purely because when he got threatening he got scary. So I started to work on my own intimidating look, and (from the four debt I have on Tank) I developed the ability to get a better deal from just about anybody (I can now argue the toss with Brass instead of Wise, because of the move Extreme Persuasion from the Heavy playbook).
This all sound good and reasonable?

To go into more description here for Reaper: Think of a younger Lucy Liu, like when she played a role in Kill Bill. Then imagine her without makeup or nice hair. She has very dark eyes, a brown that is almost black. Her hair is black, straight and not too long for a girl, just a few inches past her shoulders. She usually keeps it up and in a tight ponytail while she is working, but it will usually hang down when she is relaxing or working at Dragon Express. She doesn't have any cuts on her face, though there is a noticeable gunshot wound on on her right thigh from the time she failed to kill a rival pimp in the town, high enough though that it won't be seen while she wear shorts or a decently lengthened dress (as if she had a nice dress to wear though). Most all of her outfits are pieced together from the military surplus store and cut to the correct length. Mostly she wears vests, shorts and some army boots she was lucky to find that fit her. In terms of demeanor she is quite hospitable and respectable as she was raised to be, although quick to be insulted and respond in kind. She learned sarcasm upon reaching the country and likes to use it almost unscrupulously when she mocks others. She is fluent in English as she has been learning her whole life, although she is prone to make small mistakes and doesn't use very large words. In terms of demeanor she is no longer very trusting initially, he violent lifestyle has taught her that people are not to be trusted from initial contact. When I'm on the job I have a double sided agenda, so why wouldn't everyone else in the world?
